Indian Overseas Bank is inviting applications for recruiting Probationary Officers.  Total number of vacancies is 1000. 495 vacancies are opened for general category candidates, 263 for OBC candidates, 146 and 96 for SC and ST candidates respectively.  Scale of salary is Rs.14,500-25,700.

Candidates who passed graduation with at least 60% marks are eligible to apply for Probationary Officers posts.  ST/SC/PC candidates should have at least 55% marks in graduation.  Computer knowledge is essential.

Candidates should be between 21 and 30 years of age by 1^st January, 2011.  Upper age relaxation is given for five years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Examination fee is Rs.400 for general category candidates and Rs.50 for SC/ST/PC candidates.
