For Applying to include names in electoral rolls in Delhi, candidates have to use Form no. 4 for new registration at the time of enumeration. Form 6 is for applying after draft publication; Form 7 for objection in include name in electoral roll; Form 8 is for objection to particulars entered in electoral roll and Form 8A is for transposition of entries.

In case of candidates who are already registered in electoral rolls in Delhi in some other place but want to enrol their names in new place, they first have to get their name deleted from the old constituency electoral rolls.  If the candidates has shifted his residence in the same constituency, form 8A has to be filled and submitted to ERO or AERO of the area of new residence.

Photo ID cards are given in Delhi for people who enrolled their names in electoral rolls.  If the ID card contains defective information it can be rectified by depositing the same in the office of ERO.  Having a ration card is not compulsory for applying to include name in electoral rolls in Delhi.  But residence proof certificate which can be either passport/bank pass book/driving licence etc has to be submitted.

Getting enrolled in the electoral rolls is the fundamental right of every citizen of India.  During enumeration process in Delhi, the authorities that visit the houses of people hand over enumeration record which is an acknowledgment.  The applicant shall check his name after the draft roll is published whether his name is included in the electoral rolls or not.  The draft roll will be available in the office of ERO.

Candidates can also get the details of their polling station and assembly constituency if they have given complete address at the time of applying for enrolment in electoral rolls in Delhi.  They can check the details at the official website or from ECI or CEO office.  If the photo ID card is lost, the applicant shall deposit Rs. 25 to get a new card.  The dates on which ID cards will be issued will be intimated in newspapers by the CEO/DC office.
