Registration of names in employment exchange in Goa is to provide assistance to the job seekers and the registration is done in a prescribed procedure where the details of the job seeker are recorded.  The candidates who wish to register their names in Employment exchange need to present themselves before the registration section on all working days between 9.30 and 1.15 pm.  They have to carry along with them a residential certificate that proves that the candidate staying in particular locality for at least fifteen years and this should be issued by the Mamlatdar of the Taluk and all the certificates proving the educational qualifications.  Certificates of educational qualifications in original have to be produced before the authorities for registering in employment exchange in Goa.

There are some special schemed offered by government of Goa such as ‘One job in a family’.  Candidates who wish to apply under these schemes in Mapusa, Margao, Panaji in Goa have to bring the income certificate of the family issued by the Sarpanch.  The Block Development Officer of Taluk or Chief Officer of Municipal Council has to countersign on the income certificate.  There is another scheme of Goa government namely ‘Preferential Treatment to Sons and Daughters of Freedom Fighters’.  To register names under this scheme, the applicants need to bring a certificate from Mamlatadar confirming that the applicant is a son/daughter of freedom fighter and the applicant has no job.  The documents that shall be submitted for registering names in employment exchange in Goa are –

  • The educational qualification certificates
  • Experience certificate
  • Residential certificate for 15 years

All the above certificates of the applicant need to be originals.  For claiming reservation under categories in Goa while registering names in employment exchange, such as caste, widow, divorcee, sports quota etc all required documents need to be produced that are obtained from the concerned authorities.
