All persons who are in the age group of 18 to 35 years and those who are unemployed are eligible to register their names with state employment exchange in Uttarakhand.  The Employment officer/Exchange is the place that the candidates have to approach for register their names.

For registering names in employment exchange in Dehradun, Badrinath, Haridwar in Uttarakhand, the candidates need to fill For XI and submit the same to the employment officer.  They also have to submit the following forms along with application for name registration.

• Education certificate/Mark sheet
• Residence proof certificate
• Caste certificate
• Experience certificate

No fee is charged for registering names with employment exchange in Uttarakhand from the candidates.  Application in Form XI has to be filled and submitted personally.  Presently there is no provision to submit online applications for registering with employment exchanges in Uttarakhand.
