Indian citizens who are ordinary residents of the area in Rajasthan in which he or she wants to enrol his name in electoral rolls and who are above the age of 18 years are eligible to file application for registering name in electoral rolls in Rajasthan.

There are two ways in which the names can be enrolled in electoral rolls in Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer in Rajasthan.  One way is to enrol during the time of door-to-door campaign taken up by government functionaries. Normally this is done once in every ten years.  Other way for registering the names is at the time of annual revision, the date will be announced by the Election Department.  Eligible candidates can obtain the forms from the electoral registration officer in their locality or polling station or from the website. The filled in form shall be submitted to the ERO or Designated officer.  The applicant will be asked to present on the date of hearing.  If everything is in order, the name of the applicant will be enrolled in the electoral rolls.

Various forms are to be used for different purposes while applying to register names in electoral rolls in Rajasthan.  Form 6 is for inclusion of name in electoral names; Form 7 is for objection to inclusion of name of deletion of name; Form 8 is for correction of particulars in electoral rolls and Form 8A is for transposition of entries.  All these forms can be downloaded from http://eci.nic.in and http://www.ceorajasthan.nic.in

Presently there is no provision to submit the applications for inclusion of name in electoral rolls in Rajasthan online.  They have to be submitted physically to the electoral registration officer.  Designated authority for this is the Electoral Registration Officer of the Assembly Constituency.
