Promoters who are more profitable from the dividends provided to the shareholders for the year 2009-10 in India. The Tata sons is the holding company for the Tata groups. The tat sons had got Rs.3413.68 crores as the dividend from the five companies. There are Rs.2886.80 crores from TCS, Rs.281.07 crores from the Tata motors, Rs.206.73 crores from the Tata steels, Rs.83.19 crores from the Tata power and Rs.30.18 crores from the tata chemicals. There is no share for the Ratan Tata who is the owner of the Tata group in this dividend as he is taking the salary package for maintaining the company as the chairman.

Mukesh ambani is in second position:

When the Tata sons is in the top position, the India’s largest private company Reliance industries owner Mukesh Ambani is in the second position. There is 44.76% of the RIL share in the dividend from 41 different investment companies. The RIL promoter had got Rs.1024.74 crores in the form of dividend. The Wipro company owner Ajeem Premji is in the third position and there is 79.52% share of the Premji in the company by the end of the March month this year. In the last financial year, Wipro promoter group had got Rs.700.54 crores.
