  • ‘Gods Own Country’ caption is recollected as soon as said about Kerala. Promotions by that state government are of that level. Neighboring states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka also have got the same level of promotional strategies. Andhra Pradesh state tourism board has recognized that there are no such promotional strategies for the state. In this scenario, it has get into an agreement with ‘Star Communications’ in the regard of getting ‘brand new look’ to the state tourism field.
  • Entertainment facilities are to be added to the existing tourist spots. They are going to be improved so that tourists can enjoy for more time.
  • Watchable places near the tourist spots are to be developed.
  • Andhra Pradesh has a long coastal line of 965 kms. But then, the state has only two beach resorts i.e. Suryalanka and Rushikonda. At least 20 resorts are to be developed along the coastal line.
  • Water irrigation projects on Krishna, Godavari and others in the state are to be developed into tourist spots. In future, a cruise is to be launched form Srisailam to Nagarjunasagar.
  • Tourism department is going to utilize the fame of Hyderabad city. International conference halls, International airport, hotels ranging from five star hotels to budget hotels are present in the city. So, Hyderabad has become the stage for international meetings. In this scenario, mice-meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions are to be developed here.
  • In order to attract hi-end tourists, heli tourism is to be introduced. In the starting stages, it is facilitated between Benguluru, Puttaparti, Hyderabad and Nagarjuna sagar.
  • Wellness tourism is also going to be developed making the use of world class hospitals and the availability of skilled doctors.
  • Latest technical support for the shooting of movies, presence of latest film studios, facilities for post production works and others are present in the state and hence film tourism is also going to be developed to attract the attention of film industries of other states.
  • Mini tourism complexes are to be established in 50 tourist spots of Andhra Pradesh by the tourism department. Tourists can get all the facilities in these complexes.
