The dealer of vehicles is eligible to apply for vehicle registration on behalf of the vehicle owner in Tamil Nadu.  If the dealer has already registered the vehicle temporarily, the owner of the vehicle can make an application for registration of vehicles.

Forms that are needed for vehicle registration in Coimbatore, Madurai, Chennai in Tamil Nadu are Form 20, 21, 19, 22, PAN of the applicant or GIR or Form 60/61 of Income Tax department. All these forms are available for download at http://www.tn.gov.in/sta/ApplicationForms.html

Application for vehicle registration in Tamil Nadu should be submitted with supporting documents such as address proof, insurance, passport photos of the applicant, life time tax and temporary registration certificate for temporarily registered vehicles.
