Vehicles run by air- Engineering students’ talent | How the vehicle can work with air as fuel?
Till now we have seen vehicle run by fuel and gas. But the students of VIF engineering college, Gandipet of Hyderabad, are created a vehicle run by air. Sayeed Mohammad Saif, Azahar Alibaig, Fahad Mohammad, Mohammad Minshajuddin and Jubed Yousuf are studying last year of engineering in mechanical subject in this college. They have designed a vehicle using air as fuel. They have proven their talent by demonstrating this vehicle.
Cost of air car is Rs. 40,000:
All the materials and items required for designing the vehicle are arranged locally. Three cycle tyres, steering, disk brakes, gears, air motor, pneumatic motors are used along with engine. Two air cylinders are arranged.
How the vehicle can work with air as fuel?
Vehicle runs only by air. Battery is also not required. Students explain, this car run by 6kgs energy is attached with 150 kgs/centimeter capacity air cylinder and then the energy required by the car is reduced using regulator and thereby made to run. Sound will not be aroused much when the engine starts and pollution will not be there. Silencer is also not present in this vehicle. By this vehicle, 30 to 40kmph speed can be achieved. Vehicle can be started using air cylinder. Professor Naseeb Khan has helped them in designing the vehicle.
Students are ready to manufacture this vehicle in full swing if the government assists. They say that they have taken up this project with an aim to create new invention. Principal Nasser Hussain compliments the students that they have got fame to the college and to the state by inventing a vehicle run by air.
