VIT University of Tamil Nadu offering B.S., M.S. courses in collaboration with State University of New York, America | Qualification and Last date for applying to BS and MS courses at VIT

Many educational institutions are showing interest to offer quality courses in collaboration with foreign universities.  Apart from Government Universities many prominent private educational institutions are also signing collaborative agreements with foreign universities.  JNT University and Andhra University of Andhra Pradesh are also offering Engineering courses in collaboration with foreign educational institutions. Prominent Engineering Institute of Tamil Nadu, VIT University, in collaboration with State University of New York, is offering B.S., M.S., courses. And such courses provide quality education in international standards.  More than that degree can be obtained from both the institutes.

  • B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology – M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
  • B.S. in Software Technology – M.S. in Software Technology

B.S. degree will be awarded by the State University of New York and M.S. degree will be awarded by the VIT University.  Duration of the courses is two years including the internship.  The students have to study one year in VIT University and the other year in America.  The candidate can continue his studies at VIT for the second year also.  State University of New York has 64 campuses in America.  More than 4 lakh students are studying in these campuses.

Eligibility

Candidates who finished B.Sc with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Applied Science/Computer Science are eligible. Candidates are selected basing on the marks and an interview.  Applications can be sent through online from the web site of VIT University.

Last date for receiving filled in applications is 24th September 2010.
