Allauddin Khilji is the king who ruled Delhi in the middle period from 1296 B.C to 1316 B.C and he was stubborn about being the world conqueror. He used to fight continuously and he became the conqueror of Gujarat, Ranthambore, Mewar, Malwar etc in 1297 to 1305 B.C. These successes inspired him to conquer more areas. He decided to conquer whole India and make a single rule. With this decision, he had sent the army against south India in 1306 to 1312 B.C. He had fought against the Yadavas, Pandyas, Kakatiyas and Huyapala and stood as winner. He had conquered Sri Rangam temple, Madhura and Rameswaram and went to Delhi with lot of money. The success of Khilji was due to the weakness of other armies and so he won against them. He had the knowledge of price control, marketing and other fields also. He also used to like the literature and he had the name as Sikendar-e-sani (second Alexander).
